Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and after clearing with Immigration and Customs formalities, proceed to the International arrivals area where you will be warmly met by a representative of Berleen Safaris and you will be transferred to the Hemingways Nairobi.
Hemingways Nairobi is a luxury boutique hotel located in the quiet and exclusive suburb of Karen. The elegant architecture fits discreetly into the rolling landscape, optimizing the views over the forested valley and the famous Ngong Hills. The hotel’s main area houses the restaurants and opens onto large, airy terraces on both the ground and first floors, with sweeping, un-interrupted views towards the Hills. All of the 45 suites include a valet service (19 executive, 24 deluxe and two suites which are penthouse style – Hemingways and Blixen suites). Amboseli lies at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,340ft). After breakfast depart via Nairobi with en-route lunch and up the scenic Great Rift Valley with breath-taking views of Mount Longonot, Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita at a distance. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingo. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino and the elusive leopard.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha with its commanding setting at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment. The lake is an important horticultural area of Kenya. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon at leisure by the lake side. You will go for a boat ride and a visit to crescent Island on this day.
Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort is situated at the shores of the lake. Its well-manicured lawns are colored with vibrant flowers and scattered with little rock gardens. Monkey, giraffe and a variety of birdlife are often seen on the lawns.
Accommodation is in large cottages each with two separate spacious en-suite rooms at the top and two on the ground floor. Facilities include a large lounge area, dining room with a shaded patio, swimming pool (the pool area has a bar area, snack kitchen and pizzeria), health spa / gym) and conference facilities.

Your driver guide will plan your days with you, which can be as active or as leisurely as you wish. You may decide to spend the whole day in the park with picnic lunches or enjoy a morning game drive and return to the camp for a leisurely lunch and time to relax before going out game viewing again in the cooler hours of the afternoon.
Masai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Acacia dotted plains, tree-lined rivers and woodlands are abundant with wildlife and an array of birdlife. Game viewing is spectacular year round; you may see a pride of lions stalking their prey, observe a herd of elephant and their fascinating social structure, or see pods of hippo wallowing in the rivers. The Mara plays host to one of the natural wonders of nature – The Great Wildebeest Migration. An estimated two million animals migrate in a year-round pattern through Tanzania and Kenya, following the rain.

Wake up early with coffee/tea and head off on your last trail of the African savannah ( the morning game drive will be done depending on your international flight time departing Nairobi as if it leaves early we do not recommend a morning game drive. The drive from Masai Mara to Nairobi takes approximately 06 hours) – hopefully, you’ll see some big game.
Return to the Lodge for breakfast. Unfortunately, all good experiences must come to an end and sadly you must say Kwaheri to your wonderful lodge Manager and his team as you depart for Nairobi. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
