Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and after clearing with Immigration and Customs formalities, proceed to the International arrivals area where you will be warmly met by a representative of Berleen Safaris and you will be transferred to the Tribe Hotel.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel and depart for your full day excursions at the beautiful Karen area of Nairobi.
Begin with a visit at the Giraffe Centre which offers the unique experience of hand-feeding these gentle giants at eye level
from a raised platform, while watching the warthogs below
snuffle around looking for titbits. The centre is the
headquarters of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife
(AFEW) which was setup to raise money to relocate the endangered Rothschild giraffe to safe areas.
Then visit the Karen Blixen Museum which offers a glimpse of typical colonial life in Kenya. The house was once the centre piece of a farm owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen. The museum gained international fame with the release of the Oscar winning film ‘Out of Africa’, which is based on Karen’s life.
Stop for lunch at The Talisman Restaurant. The Talisman Restaurant is a popular restaurant in Nairobi that serves up a delightful fusion of European, Pan-Asian and African cuisines. The deco features carved wooden pillars from Pakistan, elegant Afghan rugs, charming fireplaces a sprawling terrace and a beautiful garden.
Later visit the Kazuri Beads Factory which was started to help women around Nairobi with regular employment so that they could support their families and educate their children. Meet the women and chat with them about their lives as they work. The jewellery also makes great gifts!
At 17:00hrs: Adoption visit to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s elephant orphanage, meet the baby Elephants as they return from the bush for the night and talk to their keepers to learn more about this
worthwhile project and the importance of the elephant in Africa’s conservation efforts.
After your excursions, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

You will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara National Reserve departing at 1030hrs. Arrive at approximately 1110 hrs, you will be met by your safari guide at the Airstrip.
Enjoy a short game viewing en route arriving at & Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp arriving in time for lunch.
& Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is located on the edge of the Oloololo escarpment where the riverine forest meets the plains, offering sweeping views of the Masai Mara plains. The camp has recently been completely redesigned and rebuilt. Accommodation is in spacious en-suite tents, each with a small private veranda. Guest areas incorporate split-level spaces and large windows invite the Mara inside, while the rim-flow swimming pool boasts extraordinary views of the plains. The camp also has interconnecting tents to cater for families.
There is time to relax before departing for your afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Masai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Acacia dotted plains, tree-lined rivers and woodlands are abundant with wildlife and an array of birdlife. Game viewing is spectacular year round; you may see a pride of lions stalking their prey, observe a herd of elephant and their fascinating social structure, or see pods of hippo wallowing in the rivers.
The Mara plays host to one of the natural wonders of nature – The Great Wildebeest Migration. An estimated two million animals migrate in a year-round pattern through Tanzania and Kenya, following the rain. From around late July/August each year, large herds of wildebeest and zebra begin making dramatic river crossings and the grasslands of the Mara are covered by a mass of moving wildebeest as far as the eye can see, offering easy opportunity for crocodile and predators who are never far away. (This is an act of nature and movement of the animals varies slightly from year to year).

Breakfast at the camp and transfer to Kichwa Tembo airstrip for your scheduled flight (0845 hrs/0930 hrs) to Migori airstrip. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Kenya/Tanzania border point of Isebania where you will be assisted with Immigrations and Customs formalities then drive to Tarime airstrip for your scheduled flight (1115 hrs/1300 hrs approx.) to Serengeti National Park. On arrival at Seronera airstrip, you will be met by your driver guide and transferred to Meliá Serengeti Lodge. Enjoy a short game viewing drive enroute arriving at the lodge in time for lunch.
Meliá Serengeti Lodge is located in the heart of Serengeti National Park, overlooking the River Mbalageti valley. The lodge stands on a natural terrace offering beautiful views of the Serengeti Plains. Rooms and suites are offered in three categories and have an elegant design with colonial touches. All rooms are en-suite with views of the valley below. Facilities at the lodge include a restaurant, bar, pool, gym, spa, kids club and meeting rooms.

In the late afternoon ascend to the crater rim and drive back to your lodge.
